Maxwell House has teamed up with Rebuilding Together, a national organization dedicated to helping low-income homeowners maintain safe, affordable housing through renovation and repair, to help bring much-needed repairs to a few recreation centers across the country.
Baltimore's own DeWees Recreation Center has been named as one of ten finalists in this competition, and has the opportunity to receive $50,000 in funding to go toward renovations and repairs for the center.
Today is the LAST day to vote to bring this grant to DeWees. The three winning rec centers will not only receive funding but the supplies and volunteers necessary to get the renovations accomplished.
With recreation centers across Baltimore City facing closure, this is an incredible opportunity to keep one of our neighborhood centers open and welcoming to the communities it has long served.
