It’s Back to School Baltimore!

First Day of School: Monday, August 27

Do you know students who will be attending a Baltimore public school? Here’s what they need to be ready:

• Students can find out about their school uniform by visiting their school website (and if families need help buying what they need, they can contact the school for assistance).
  
• Students need to have certain immunizations, which are available at free clinics — or on the spot at the Mayor’s Back to School Rally (just bring student’s health records to the rally on August 23).
  
• Students should know when their school day starts and ends, so they should check out their school’s bell schedule.
  
• And, most important, tell the students you know that they should be in school on the first day, no matter what — even if they don’t have their supplies, uniforms or immunizations.
