From the MTA: Proposed Bus Stop Consolidation Meetings

We apologize for the late notice, but just received this information:

The Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) is preparing to host four public information sessions on the proposed consolidation of bus stops on MTA’s No.11 and No. 35 Local Bus routes.  The adjustments are designed to ensure the best possible service for MTA’s customers on these lines.  MTA has evaluated the stops on these routes by analyzing passenger usage, distance between stops and proximity to transfer points and activity centers, among many other factors.  We also want to hear from our customers and the residents and business owners in the neighborhoods we serve.

The public information sessions are a very important part of the planning and evaluation process.  The MTA is interested in hearing from you and your constituents as we strive to improve our performance on the No. 11 and No. 35 lines, which serve a large base of customers over a broad service area.
