Mark Your Calendars: DPW Stormwater Utility Fee Informational Meetings




This past November, Baltimore City voters approved the referendum to create a stormwater utility.  This new utility will protect revenues of a stormwater remediation fee, similar to revenues received for water and wastewater utilities.  This stormwater remediation fee will enable DPW to install practices throughout the City to improve water quality, address aging storm drain pipes and decrease the potential property damage and public dangers associated with flooding and infrastructure collapse.

To educate and inform residents about the impact stormwater has on their community and the proposed legislation currently before the Council to create a stormwater remediation fee, The Department of Public Works invites you to attend one of four public meetings:
