Board of Estimates' Annual Taxpayers' Night: Tuesday, April 9

Taxpayers’ Night allows citizens an opportunity to voice their thoughts and concerns about the City’s proposed Fiscal Year 2014 budget.

Members of the Board of Estimates will meet to listen to residents and gather feedback.

It is especially important to attend the Board of Estimates' Taxpayers Night if you want to see a particular activity funded at a higher level. The City Council cannot add more money to a line item (without the cooperation of the Mayor) once the Board of Estimate's budget proposal is introduced as a bill.
Taxpayers' Night will be held at 5:30 p.m. at the War Memorial Building at 101 N. Gay Street (across from City Hall on Gay Street, between Fayette and Lexington Streets).
