Senator Theatre to Close for Renovations

Starting this Friday, April 27th, the Senator Theatre will be closed for extensive renovations.  The goal is for renovations to be complete within 6 to 9 months.

The project includes a modified restoration of the main auditorium, the restoration of the mural, surfaces and features of the round outer lobby, as well as construction of three additional screens (for a total of 4) and a café with outside seating.

The Senator Theatre, LLC, the City, the State, and private lenders are working on final aspects of this complex project. All parties are committed to making this project work, and we are grateful for the community’s continued patience and enthusiasm for the project.
