TransForm Baltimore - Planning Commission Hearing Update
The Baltimore City Planning Commission will hold its third public hearing on the City’s newly proposed zoning code (TransForm Baltimore), City Council Bill #12-0152/Comprehensive Rezoning. This hearing will take place on Saturday, January 5, 2013, at Poly/Western High School, 4600 Falls Road, in Banneker Hall (use the main entrance off of Cold Spring Lane). The doors will open at 10am and staff will be available to answer questions from the public, from 10am to 10:55am. At 11am staff will give a 20 to 30 minute presentation and afterwards, the Commission will take public testimony.
An additional hearing has been scheduled for City Council Bill #12-0152/Comprehensive Rezoning. The date of this new hearing is Thursday, January 10, 2013 and it will be held at the War Memorial building starting at 4:30pm. The War Memorial Building is located at 101 North Gay Street and the meeting will be in the first floor assembly hall. Please use the Lexington Street entrance.
The main topic of this hearing will be “Proposed Zoning Changes for Liquor Outlets”. The doors will open at 4:30pm and staff will give a brief 15 to 20 minute presentation and afterwards, the Commission will take public testimony.
