WORK PLANNED FOR UPCOMING WEEK (weather permitting)

April 22 – April 26, 2013

**UPDATE**

BGE and the contractor will be onsite starting Wednesday April, 24 to repair the sidewalk and driveway on the west side of York Road between Glenwood and Homeland (BGE gas regulation station). There will be a right lane closure within this area.

Contract TR-10319- York Road Rehabilitation

Limits: York Rd from 43rd Street to Glenwood Avenue

Work Hours: 8:00 am to 3:00 pm (northbound only - As per Robert Ferguson)
9:00 am to 4:00 pm (southbound only - As per Robert Ferguson)

  • Monday-Friday: One lane closure for pole base foundations (eleven total throughout project) on York Road between 43rd Street and Glenwood Avenue.

  • Monday-Friday: One lane closure for underground electrical work on York Road at E. Cold Spring Lane intersection.

NOTE: The Victorian pedestrian lights have not been energized. I will inform the community when this will happen. I have my electrical contractor investigating the outages for the street lights to determine if it is our contractor or BGE who need to repair.

The MTA bus stops will not be affected. The construction work will be completed in sections to reduce the impact on traffic.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation. For additional information or questions regarding this
work, please contact Mrs. Jessica Lewis at 410 396-6956.
