York Road Streetscape Update: Week of April 29, 2013

WORK PLANNED FOR UPCOMING WEEK (weather permitting)

April 29 – May 3, 2013

Contract TR-10319- York Road Rehabilitation

Limits: York Rd from 43^rd Street to Glenwood Avenue

Work Hours: 8:00 am to 3:00 pm (northbound only - As per Robert Ferguson)

                      9:00 am to 4:00 pm (southbound only - As per Robert Ferguson)

           

• Monday-Friday: One lane closure for pole base foundations (eleven total throughout project) on York Road between 43^rd Street and Glenwood Avenue.

• Monday-Friday: One lane closure for underground electrical work on York Road at E. Cold Spring Lane intersection.

• Monday-Friday: One lane closure for the milling operation from Winston to Cold Spring (we will pave two weeks from the completion of milling).

NOTE: The Victorian pedestrian lights have not been energized. I will inform the community when this will happen. I have my electrical contractor investigating the outages for the street lights to determine if it is our contractor or BGE who need to repair.

The MTA bus stops will not be affected. The construction work will be completed in sections to reduce the impact on traffic.
